Nuffield Health Assessments

Having a health assessment can help you to understand how healthy you are and identify areas that might need improving. We’ve teamed up with Nuffield Health to give you 50% off their standard retail prices. The price you pay depends on the type of screen you select.

How much will I pay?

Prices are correct as at March 2010.

We will subsidise the cost of either two health screens or two fitness assessments or one of each at anytime per policy year.

*This assessment is free to Nuffield Health Fitness and Wellbeing gym members. Non Nuffield members must pay £40.

Earning Vitality points

We feel it’s important to keep track of certain key health numbers such as blood pressure, glucose and your Body Mass Index. We therefore award Vitality points based on these “clinical indicators” within the health assessments you choose to take.

You’ll get 60 Vitality points for each eligible health number you measure. You could get a further 60 points per test result that falls into normal healthy standards, which we call the ‘green zone’.

You can only earn points for taking each clinical test or for achieving the ‘green zone’ once each year. After your health screen, you will need to send your results to us within 45 days. We’ll then update your Vitality Points accordingly.
